And then there were 3....

We should probably update you on our lives. It's been a while since I've updated this blog, but I assure you, we've been quite busy. So busy, in fact, that we've decided to make a major change in our family. We are adopting. Or at least that is our heart's desire. Our family is very excited about this. We are communicating with Love the Children in Quakertown, PA. This organization does a lot for Korean ophans and we are thrilled to be working with such a fantastic organization. So, yes, this does mean we are pursuing a Korean adoption. Right now we are working on TONS of paperwork. At first I was amazed by the paperwork, but let's face it - you are applying for a child...it should be extensive. Steve and I have spent the weekend writing our 4 - 6 page autobiography and they are in pretty good shape. We are collecting tax returns, birth certifacates, marriage liscences and lots of legal documents that contain the combination of letter and numbers that we don't yet understand. We'll keep you posted on this blog about the process. We expect that we'll be welcoming our child home in the nexy 6 - 9 months, so I'm sure a lot will be happening. Our child will arrive home when he or she is 6 - 12 months old. Of course, as in any adoption process, any of these things can change quickly....

We can't wait to share this journey with you! Stay tuned...
